"I had homeowners insurance. They sent out a letter saying I needed to make repairs to the wrong address. By the time I found out it was a week before cancellation. I asked for an extension due to Mary’s negligence and they denied me. I asked for my refund check it too was mailed to the wrong address now I have to wait up 10 days for a new check. I will never go back to State Farm definitely not to Mary and Jim! 😡😡😡"

"I've been with State Farm for about 25 years. Mary and Ezra used to be very responsive and helpful. But the rates have skyrocketed in recent years. In the last eight months alone our rates for two sedans and renters has gone up from $412/mo to $478/mo to $512/mo. I work during the time they're open and can't call, but I have emailed Mary and Jim numerous times over the last couple of months and texted Jim last week (Ezra is no longer there), and neither have responded. This is ridiculous. I'm looking elsewhere."

I will be reviewing our systems to make sure that does not happen again. Regarding the rates, as the press has been covering the pace and size of insurance rates increasing in the last few years at many companies. The steep rate increases are impacting everybody. I'd be glad to discuss it with you on the phone or in person in more depth and would like to apologize verbally for the delayed reply. To do a good job of explaining it more and addressing all of your questions at once a phone or in-person conversation would serve us best for this subject. "Covered most expenses when raw sewage flooded my home, they were helpful throughout the cleaning process. However, they raise prices indiscriminately and it can be hard to get a hold of someone when needed. They also left me in an extremely vulnerable position as I had signed up for insurance for another property, and someone messed up the paperwork. Long story short, the basement flooded and when I called for help, they said we weren't covered. I was devastated. I won't be doing business with this agency again."
